In 1975 EINSA is born as a natural extension of its publishing activity “Guía de Tasaciones”, a well-known publication within the business of car-pieces sales. In 1989 the group enlarges its production capacity in Galicia by opening a production plant in Andrade. In 1.999, ten years after the creation of the Andrade facility, EINSA Print inaugurates a new plant in As Pontes, which represents its definitive consolidation as clear reference within the printing business in Spain and in Europe.
Einsa Print was founded in 1971 in Madrid as a Publisher of the “GUÍA DE TASACIONES” dedicated to the automotive aftermarket industry. First Company of the Einsa Group, nowadays called: Gt Motive.
In 1975 Einsa starts its activity in the field of printing industry to print their own products: car price guide and workshop manuals, integrating all production processes such as prepress, printing, binding, shipping …
In 1980 Einsa acquires it’s first web press and launches a printing activity for guides and telephone directories in Spain. The company scores points in the sector and is already taking its distances, with a success that propelled her as the first company in Europe in terms of technology, production capacity and market penetration.
In 1984, a major change occurs in the process of production with the integration of new softwares for supply chain management. In 1986, the company becomes EDICIONES INFORMATIZADAS, SA, and Guía de Tasaciones remains a brand. Meanwhile, new investments are emerging at that time with a transfer of facilities from Madrid to Galicia and the acquisition of new machines adapted to the current productions standards. In 1989, facing an increasing demand, EINSA PRINT decides to expand its facilities and starts a new plan of expansion in Galicia.
In1992 a new production plant is inaugurated in Pontedeume (A Coruña) with an area of 5000 m2, which will rapidly extend to 7900 m2 in 1996.
In 1999, a new production plant opens in As Pontes, with the firm commitment to ensure the presence in the domestic and International markets.
In 2000, the first center of Andrade implements an integrated management system which meets the standards of the ISO 14001 and produces its first Environmental Statement in accordance with the EU regulation Eco-management and eco-audit scheme (EMAS). Einsa Print has incorporated this commitment into the values and rules of behavior of the companies of the Group.. So, any new project included in the Strategic Plan must be contemplated according to three criteria (social, economic, environmental) and has to take into account the groups of interest.
In 2001, EINSA PRINT INTERNATIONAL SA is created and inaugurates its first plant in As Pontes also, thereby strengthening the leadership of the Group on the domestic and International markets and diversifying its product line towards new niches of market.
2002, EINSA PRINT INTERNATIONAL SA inaugurates new machines and confirms its strong orientation for printing commercial brochures for the retail market, the Sunday supplements, magazines on newsstands, catalogs and brochures with large print runs. In 2002, in the continuity of her social commitments, Einsa creates the "Einsa Foundation, a nonprofit organization, incorporated into the municipal councils of As Pontes and Pontedeume. This very year, a day nursery is created in Andrade.
In 2003, the Foundation develops its activity in Pontedeume, and sets up an initial team of trained and qualified professionals. In 2005, the Foundation commits into a new project: creating a network of volunteers trained by the Foundation, caring and selfless, with the aim to alleviate loneliness and social isolation that the elderly are facing.
In 2004, Einsa sets up a new project of investment for the As Pontes facility. The objective is to strengthen the leadership in the sector of Directories and open the way to quality, by printing new products with large circulation. Active participation in Professional Associations. In 2004, the environmental management system implemented in each production plant is now part of a unique system that integrates the management of quality, the protection of the environment and the health and safety policies. This Integrated Management System, unique to each production site, demonstrates the Einsa Group commitment for the respect and the implementation of the Graphic Industry quality standards.
